About the event
Understanding warning signs and indicators of potential violent events is crucial to the prevention and intervention of youth violence and mass attacks. Over 80% of school shooters speak to others in person or online about the attack before the planning and execution of the attacks. All too often, the signs are missed or the denial of the warning signs leads to post-event identification of such. The goal of this workshop is to understand the timelines of mass shootings from ideation through to action, and how to identify the actions of individuals before the final stage.
This webinar is focused on educators, administrators, law enforcement, community services workers and others concerned about youth violence and how to reduce the actions of those contemplating violence.
