Club patrons to be quizzed on violence
Dec, 09 2005 - 10:50 PM

VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - A group of volunteers are hitting the bar lineups to survey what clubgoers think about the recent surge of violence.

Members of End Youth Violence want to know what weekend partiers think can be done about the high number of shootings at clubs around the Lower Mainland.

Group director James Miller says they'll be asking bar patrons six yes or no questions about how they feel towards the increase in violence at nightclubs, "And we're also giving an opportunity for those individuals to ge a bit of feedback on solutions and ideas that they have, which can help to make things safer."

The results of the survey will be written into a report for police departments throughout the Lower Mainland.
